Camp Meeting
Camp Meeting in Ludlow Falls is a time honored tradition among churches and families in our district which dates back to the Camp Meeting revivals that swept across the Midwest in the late 1800s. Our first Camp Meeting was held in 1895 in a grove outside Englewood, Ohio. It wasn’t until 1899 that Camp Meeting was held in Ludlow Falls at Smith’s Grove, now known as Ludlow Falls Camp. Since those early days, God has used Camp Meeting to draw people close to Him as well as call them out to a lost world.
Camp Meeting is scheduled for July 30-August 7, 2011. This year we have Rev. Stephen Manley and Rev. Steve Jones back as our camp speakers. Carl White will be our worship leader in the evening while Crista Heindel leads the worship in the morning Bible studies. We have many Special Attractions for the whole family. Journey Youth Camp will run simultaneously with Camp Meeting, ending on Saturday, August 6, 2011. Jeremiah Bolich, President of Cross Style Global, returns as the speaker.
